As we begin to start the 1st Half of the AEYBA Season, teams will be allowed to start practicing the week of October 12th. Practices and Skills Sessions will be held at The Barn on Lake Park Road. Days and Times of practices for each team will be communicated to families by the coaches.

In order to make this season as successful as possible, The AEYBA has worked to develop guidelines and protocols for coaches, players and families. We need EVERYONE to follow the rules attached below in order for these practices to be conducted.

The practice facility (The Barn) also has guidelines that must be followed in order for us to continue to go there. Please familiarize yourself with these prior to sending your player to practice.

Thank You

General Information:

Season Structure
The season will be divided into 2 sessions, but registration will be a commitment for the entire season.  While participation in the 1st session is not mandatory (though strongly encouraged), a player will not be punished for not participating.  Please know that not participating in the 1st session will mean more time may be needed to get up to speed with those that were part of the 1st session.  AEYBA will not be separating registrations between the sessions.

1st half session will be for October, November, and December
The 1st half of the season will be mainly practices and skills sessions, with some possible LOCAL league games for the older grades.  The coaches and board will continue to search for game opportunities for the younger grades as well.
If tournaments and/or scrimmages become available, the coaches can make the decision to choose to participate.  Attention will be given to the cost and how it affects each team from a financial standpoint.  The 2nd-5th graders will get to play games in group skills.  Ultimately we all know the kids want to PLAY games!
2nd half session will be for January, February, and March
Because it is impossible to predict how the 2nd half of the season will look from a safety perspective, we are hoping there are going to be more tournaments and/or league games to sign up for.  If not, we will still have practices and then hopefully schedule scrimmages and games against other local schools in the area. Variables like tournaments, leagues, and practice locations will determine the final cost of the 2nd session registration fees.
